The circumstances are based on a member Mr Xolani Makhaka, whom has over a period of 6 years gained a Bacchelors Degree in Quantity Surveying and 4 years of accumulated practical experience in the Industry. This member has worked with various projects in a Consulting Quantity Surveying & Project Management Firm parallel to that, he also helped numerous emerging contractors with the management of their projects. This lead to the formation of XOL-MAK Construction on February 2004 to carry business on, civil engineering and building industries infrastructure development.
As a strategic objective, XOL-MAK Construction has adopted a logical, systematic and realistic programme, to get developed. XOL-MAK Construction is fully making sure that it remain focused and working very hard to convert each and every single day of its life, a foundation to its objective.
With the kind of a market research experience the founder observed, and which results were very clear that:-
- The kind of transformation our country South-Africa is going through needs youth to start their own businesses, particularly North-West Province – which XOL-MAK Construction identified as its targeted region.
- Stimulating the provinces economy
- Creating temporary & permanent jobs
- Lack of skill by contractors to manage their contracts diligently, on this era of a great demand for infrastructure development
